Juan Martinez-Day 3-PLTW Notebook
Well today in the morning we presented our power point that we were working on yesterday. We presented and so did every other group as well. I believe we did well and so did every one else. We also had to create another power point. It was on the calculator how it was invented and what impact it had on the world.
An invention is an item that an inventor came up with. An innovation is a design that was made better than the original.
Innovation was one major factor. Innovation made the calculator way easier and basic than it was before.
The pace has maybe slowed down because the calculator has all the necessities it needs. So, maybe someone would add something interesting to it someday
1. Define
and differentiate invention and innovation.
2. What
were the major factors that contributed to past innovations of the invention
that you researched?
3. How
has the pace of development changed through the history of the design?
4. What
future innovations to the chosen invention do you predict?
I predict maybe a camera being added being able to scan a word or number problem on a piece of paper not having to put the numbers in with ease.
1. What are the advantages and disadvantages to
using an isometric pictorial compared to using an oblique pictorial in
technical drawings?
Advantages for isomaetrical you use all the cubes to create the image With oblique you use
2.
What is the difference between a two-dimensional
sketch and an isometric sketch?
A two dimension only shows one dimension of a certain shape an isometric shows the angles you can't see in a two dimension way.
3.
Why do designers use tonal shading?
Designers use shading to show the readers where the front the to back and other angles. They also use to show where the sun is located.
