Day 20 PLTW Engineering Notebook

Today in the morning we have to work on a design brief for a category in engineering.

Client:	GeoEngineers
Designer:	Juan Martinez
Problem Statement:	I’m trying to lower the amount of fossil fuels as people
	that we use.  Also lowering the amount of batteries that
	are ruining our atmosphere and our ecosystem.
Design Statement:	These batteries do not have an impact on our soil as well
	as our atmosphere.  These batteries are disposable as
	well as having a low cost and is able to be bought from
	liquor stores and large supermarkets as well.
Constraints:	1. People believing that these batteries are disposable and do not have an impact on our environment
	2. The cost of these batteries must be low and also must be high enough to produce more of these batteries.
	3. Major markets or small stores that is willing to sell these new batteries.
	4.  Finding a producer that is able to make these batteries without using fossil fuels or any thing that will harm our environment as well.

2.      What actions are considered cheating?

 Copying a design brief word for word or Copying another persons design.

3.      What are your rights and responsibilities as a potential engineer?

My rights and responsibilities are to design objects that have a positive impact on us people or our environment.  Those are my rights and responsibilities.
