Today we're sketching by measurements.  This means that our sketch is the same size as the one in our work sheet.  We also measured real life items using the metric system.  We also did the same just with U.S customary instead.  We are now converting the metric system to the U.S customary and vice versa.  That is what we are currently doing for lesson 3.2.  We also measured using a small device that measured more exact than than a ruler.  Then we had to measure the parts for the toy car like the wheel for example.

The outside measurement of the passenger area is 3.286 inches.  The inside measurement is 2.088 inches.  The step measurement is 0.1 inch.  The depth is 1.2331.The diameter of the wheels are 1.619 inches.
