Today we created the passenger seat for the automoblox vehicle.  The passenger seat was challenging due to the star not being a default shape instead you having to design it your self.  As you can see the shapes had to be extruded and cut out to make it seem like the passengers are able to fit into this design.  We also needed to make the vehicle's wheel as well.

1.                        What advantages do CAD sketches have over freehand sketches?

 The advantage to CAD sketches over freehand sketches you have a full perspective view of you item with CAD sketches and it's more exact.  Freehand is easier to do but it takes longer to make a full perspective drawing then with CAD.

2.                              What disadvantages do CAD sketches have when compared to freehand sketches?

 Some disadvantages is that CAD can be confusing at times because of all of the tools and the certain things you can't do without activating something else.  It can be more confusing than freehand at times.

3.      What types of numeric constraints may be applied to sketches?

Negative numbers are a numeric constraint and fractions as well that can be a constraint.

4.                              Explain the difference between the Fillet sketch tool and the Fillet placed feature.

 The fillet sketch tool adds a radius to your rectangle or rhombus's corners.  While the fillet placed feature adds more objects allowing the fillet to be added.

5.                              The Fillet placed feature is used to create both a “fillet” and a “round”. Describe the difference between the two results.

A fillet adds a radius to a corner and a round is able to round a horizontal or vertical line.

6.Could the Shell feature be used to create the opening in the Automoblox body passenger section (as in number 2 above)? Explain your answer
Yes it can because the passenger seat's outside is round and must use the fillet tool so yes the shell feature can be used.
